Cheap Trick Long Beach Concert reviews
Spectacular!
Anthony Daniels gave a great performance - the best surprise was having no idea he was hosting and narrating. The orchestra and chorus performed the material beautifully, and it really did justice to John William's amazing music. The "live" characters greeting the fans on the way in were loved by the kids, who really loved getting their pictures taken with all of them. The lighting effects were spectacular, and the sound quality was excellent. It was well worth the ticket price, with everything about this show being top notch. I would recommend it even to those who haven't been avid fans - you will appreciate the story and the music much more after viewing this performance. The audience gave the performers a standing ovation, which was well deserved, just staging something of this proportion is a huge accomplishment.
